Riddick was born with several holes in his heart and could not get off the ventilator until he underwent heart surgery at 6 weeks of age. Doctors repaired several holes but 2 small ones remain. Doctors also found a heart murmur, which he still has to this day. Riddick has had several follow up visits to monitor his heart condition and will continue to throughout his life.
